JohnsonDetailing is committed to delivering a high-quality mobile auto detailing and ceramic coating experience. We appreciate your consideration of our services and would like to outline the terms and conditions that govern our business operations. These policies are intended to clearly explain the scope and limitations of our services and to protect both you and our company.
The most important terms are located at the top of this document under “Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy” and “Vehicle Terms.”
By booking any service with JohnsonDetailing, you acknowledge and agree to all terms and conditions outlined below.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments prior to service. This deposit will always transfer to a rescheduled appointment. If a client needs to cancel or reschedule, they must notify us within a reasonable time frame, and we will gladly apply the deposit to a future appointment.
The deposit is deducted from the total service cost at the time of payment. If the deposit is not paid before service, it will be added to the final invoice. Any cancellation made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will result in a $25 charge if the deposit has not already been paid.
Vehicle Terms
Clients must remove all personal items, valuables, and significant belongings from the vehicle prior to service. For safety and liability reasons, JohnsonDetailing technicians will not handle personal belongings. If technicians are required to wait longer than 15 minutes for items to be removed, we reserve the right to charge for lost time. The same applies to late arrivals.
Large amounts of trash and debris must be removed before service. If excessive trash remains, a $50 Trash Removal Fee may be applied at our discretion.
If compartments such as glove boxes or center consoles are not cleared, they will not be cleaned to protect client privacy and personal property.
Clients are asked to remove car seats and booster seats prior to arrival. If left in the vehicle, we will clean around them to the best of our ability, but full satisfaction cannot be guaranteed. For child safety reasons, we do not remove or reinstall car seats under any circumstances.
Pricing is based on vehicle condition and estimated service time. By booking with JohnsonDetailing, you acknowledge that pricing may vary after inspection. Any additional charges will be discussed and approved before work begins—no surprise fees will be added afterward.
Additional charges may apply for services involving pet hair, stains, odors, mold, hazardous materials, or biological waste.
Pet hair and sand are among the most difficult materials to remove and complete removal is not guaranteed with any service package, though visual improvement is often achieved.
We do not guarantee complete removal of stains or odors. While professional equipment and products are used, some materials are permanently damaged. Clients will be advised of realistic expectations after inspection.
Odors cannot be eliminated through cleaning alone and may require ozone treatment or specialist services.
Window cleaning may occasionally leave light streaking due to temperature or chemical reactions. Allow the vehicle to cool and wipe with a microfiber towel if needed.
JohnsonDetailing is not responsible for damage to heavily soiled or worn interior components where cleaning may cause fading or loss of markings.
Headliners are cleaned gently. Aggressive cleaning may compromise adhesive and cause sagging. Some stains may remain, and fragile headliners may be declined during inspection.
We are not responsible for brake dust that is permanently bonded or embedded in wheels.
Contaminants such as bird droppings, sap, tar, and bug residue can permanently etch paint if left untreated. Some damage may not be fully correctable without risking the clear coat.
Exterior trim restoration is not guaranteed. Some trim may require replacement.
Wax, sealants, and coatings require proper maintenance. Hand washing is recommended to maximize longevity.
On-Site Service Terms
Full payment is due on the day service is completed. Payment reminders will be provided.
We reserve the right to require full prepayment for clients who repeatedly cancel or reschedule and may refuse service if scheduling or payment terms are not respected.
Appointments may be adjusted due to weather, equipment failure, or staff health without penalty. Alternative arrangements will be communicated whenever possible.
For safety, clients must remain 10–15 feet away from the work area. Please notify technicians from a distance if assistance is needed.
Clients must accurately disclose vehicle conditions before arrival. If undisclosed hazardous conditions (including biological waste or mold) are discovered, JohnsonDetailing reserves the right to stop work and request partial payment.
Photo / Video Rights
By scheduling services with JohnsonDetailing, you grant permission for photos and videos of your vehicle to be used for marketing and promotional purposes. Client identities, license plates, and addresses will not be disclosed without permission. If you have concerns, please notify us prior to service.
Media Opt-Out Form
If you do not agree, please print and sign:
I declare that I, _____________________ (first and last name), do not authorize JohnsonDetailing to use photos or videos of my vehicle for marketing purposes. I acknowledge that these materials may still be used for internal training.

Service Guarantee
If clear evidence shows that a service was not completed as ordered or workmanship was substandard, JohnsonDetailing will, at its discretion, redo or refund the affected portion of the service.
Issues must be reported during post-inspection or within 24 hours of completion. Unauthorized cleaning or repairs void the guarantee.
Declining a redo appointment limits any refund to 20% of the service value.
Only services ordered and approved by JohnsonDetailing are covered.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion. Failure to pay voids the service guarantee.
Claims must be submitted within 24 hours via email with photos attached.
Failure to disclose severe conditions at booking voids all guarantees. Additional recommended services declined by the client may also invalidate coverage.
General Terms, Legal Fees & Disputes
Full payment is required prior to vehicle or product release. Past-due invoices may incur collection fees, attorney fees, court costs, and 18% annual interest.
This is not an expectation contract. Buyer’s remorse is not grounds for dispute.
Acceptance of the vehicle constitutes acceptance of completed work. Written disputes must be submitted within three days of invoice date.
JohnsonDetailing is not responsible for loss or damage caused by fire, theft, accidents, or circumstances beyond our control.
Estimates & Vehicle Inspection
Estimates are good-faith approximations valid for 30 days and may change based on inspection.
Pre-inspections are conducted before service. Existing damage may remain visible and may affect protective coatings. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason.
Changes & Errors
We reserve the right to correct pricing, descriptions, availability, or errors at any time without notice.
